About Jenny Davidow

Your Mindful Journal and Memoir, by Jenny Davidow, M.A., DCH, delivers original and skillful steps that will relax your inner critic and release the immense creative energy available in each mindful moment. Touching stories from her workshops and excerpts from her personal journal of fifty years illustrate many facets of mindful journaling.

Jenny shares, “Like a faithful companion, my journal has joined me on this life journey for more than fifty years, revealing me to myself: I can sense and recognize the currents and themes that repeat through the months and years. Certain memories come back to me over and over again, as if to ask for more understanding and resolution. In her workshops and books, Jenny specializes in freeing the dynamic creative energy available in each moment, relaxing the inner critic, and harnessing the power of metaphor, as well as understanding and transforming symbols and dreams. She has taught mindful journaling workshops for over twenty-five years and dream workshops for forty years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Jenny’s first book, Embracing Your Subconscious: Bringing All Parts of You into Creative Partnership, is available as an ebook and print book from JennyDavidow.com, Amazon, and other booksellers; it was also published in Spain as Escucha tu Subconsciente and released as a book club edition in Central America. Jenny’s writing appears in three anthologies: The Spirit of Writing: Classic and Contemporary Essays Celebrating the Writing Life; Dreamscaping: New and Creative Ways to Work with Your Dreams; and Love Games. She is also the creator and presenter of the Mp3 audio series, Mindful Meditations.
